EARTHQUAKES IN ALASKA 6.2 GAVE ANCHORAGE A SHAKING ADO Thursday, 9.25.14
A 6.2 quake the beds in Anchorage jolting residents there. No serious injuries were reported, but mild damages were on some buildings with losing ceiling tiles and rocking walls. Many evacuated buildings as a safety precaution. The quake occured around 10:00 a.m. their local time. No warning of a Tsuanmi was issued and few if any aftershocks occured. After the shake up many resumed their day tasks.

A magnitude 4.0 quake came during the early morning on September 17, 2014 centered near the towns of Seabeck and Kitsap county. Many residents reported their alarm clocks sounding off. The mild shake could be felt in waves over Seattle and neighboring towns. No damages were reported.
