Closing casinos have former employees praying for jobs....
Atlantic City casino workers are seeking prayers after finding out that they may be losing jobs related to closings of many area casinos. At least over 8,000 workers will be out of work as three casino closings within the next few weeks. City officials, politicians and clergy are involved to help find ways to keep job opportunities available for the soon to be out of work employees. In the meantime, groups of the soon unemployed works are holding prayer meetings to ask God for divine help them find jobs soon. President of the Atlantic City Fellowship of Churches, Eric McCoy was quoted saying: "We have hope that God is about to restore them whatever his plan is for them." He had plans for us before casinos existed, and he'll have for them after they are gone." Christian and Jewish members unified in meetings in Atlantic City to pray for God's to intervene for jobs of many people resulting from closings and poor economic growth.
