ANOTHER UNARMED BLACK MAN DIES AFTER BEING SHOT BY LOS ANGELES POLICE! (2568 hits)
KTLA.com--A 24-year-old man has died after being shot by police during an encounter in the Florence neighborhood of South Los Angeles, officials said Tuesday.
The incident began at 8:12 p.m. Monday when officers responded to a report of a shooting at the intersection of West 65th Street and South Broadway (map), said Lt. Ellis Imaizumi of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Eight minutes later, at 8:20 p.m., the officers stopped a man who was walking in the 200 block of 65th, authorities said.
“A struggle ensued” and police opened fire, according to a statement from the Police Department.
The man was transported to a hospital where he underwent surgery, according to Officer Sara Faden, spokeswoman for the LAPD. He later succumbed to his injuries. No officers were hurt in the incident.
It is unknown if the suspect has any gang affiliations, police said.
A woman who said she was the deceased man’s mother identified him as Ezell Ford.
Tritobia Ford said her son was lying on the ground and complying with the officers’ commands when he was shot.
In the aftermath of the shooting, she said, police refused to inform her of where Ezell Ford was hospitalized.
An LAPD supervisor at the scene of the shooting was unaware of anyone being denied that information, Faden said Tuesday.
An investigation into the shooting is underway. Anyone with information is asked to call the LAPD’s Force Investigation Division at 213-486-5230.
This killing begs the question what the hell are Mr. Fard Muhammad and Mr. Farrakhan doing to stop this? Remember that you all believe Mr. Fard Muhammad is Allah/God in the flesh! Do you think this foreigner Mr. Fard Muhammad had hoodwinked Elijah Muhammad and obviously Mr. Farrakhan is hoodwinked as well not to mention the thousands of ignorant Black Americans embracing the teachings of the Elijah Muhammad!
I am destined to unite the Muslims and Christians into one people with one religion in one prophet in one country. What God is going to do through me is beyond what Elijah had hoped for.
It is sad to hear about the death of unarmed Blacks by the police. They think themselves to be above the law. Well it is written that you have not because you ask not, S0 the people need to speak to the man that has the heart(love) of the people in his hand. Sometimes we don't approach faith prayer because the spirits might be judgmental, only to find the opposite of what you've been told. If the majority rules then you have to be able to communicate with the spiritual ruler of that majority in order to settle disputes.
Helen you are just as stupid as Siebra is! I asked both of you what then is our permanent solution. Aren't you all tired of saying the same thing all the time? Don't you think there will be more killings? So, idiots what the hell is our permanent solution. I know just talking about it is not our permanent solution!
