A prison attack to free the son of a businessman aided the escape of 329 Haitian prisoners. News sources stated that the prisoners took advantage of the planned attack as the invaders barged in to free the businessman's son held on kidnapping charges. The search for the many prisoners has so far only re arrested 10. Police officials in Haiti are urging that any one report any harboring prisoners. The armed gunmen attacked to free Clifford Brandt who is a member of a wealthy family has been imprisoned since 2012 for running a kidnapping ring. There was a reward offered for Brandt's return of 25,000 dollars. So far many prisoners are on the run and police are following leads to have all escapees returned to lockup.
