WEDNESDAY'S SOUP: PERK UP YOUR HAMBURGER HELPER LASAGNA (625 hits)
THIS ISN'T A SOUP RECIPE BUT IT'S A QUICK MEAL FOR ANY DAY!
Okay, the troop is hungry and you need something that's quick, easy and tastes great. Normally your hamburger helper can be bland right of the box. This recipe will zest up that boxed meal to a great tummy pleaser! If you're healthy conscious, make and serve this dish with moderation.
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED: For 12 Servings
2 boxes of Hamburger Helper Lasagna
1 can of Sloppy Joe Sauce
2 cups of shredded cheese [any kind you like]
2 tsp. of parsley flakes
2 tsp. basil
Lean Ground beef
Brown ground beef in skillet and drain Pour in sloppy joe sauce Meanwhile, boil in separate pot pasta from hamburger helper until tender. In baking dish line layers of ground, cheese and top last layer with shredded cheese. Bake in conventional oven for 20-30 minutes until brown.
Slice and serve warm.
Tip: You may also use cooked spinach instead of ground beef.
