The Honorable Brother Minister Farrakhan's words to me laced me with two things: (1) a pair of wings allowing me to now fly well above the rebuke, the envy, and the pettiness of some of my peers and colleagues, such that I remain unaffected and (2) a teflon vest impenetrable to the verbal bullets constantly shot by my detractors and non-constructive critics.
No longer can they get a rise out of me. So from this point on when you see me with my sword drawn, know that it's not personal. It's just the principle of the matter.
