DEATH SENTENCE AND LIFE
AS WELL HANDED DOWN
BY JURORS NATIONAL NEWS
DID TELL

Day 10

June 2014

The trial of Sedrick Clayton came to a death sentence and life sentence when jurors handed down their decision. This resulted from the crime of murder of three people killed by gunshot wounds on January 19, 2012. Clayton killed his girlfriend and her parents at her home after an argument in the presence of their then four-year old daughter. Testimony of the daughter also confirmed that she witnessed her father shooting her mother and grandparents. Clayton admitted guilty to shooting the three took the child from her home on that day, but later returned the child and turned himself in for the crime. Clayton, who wanted a plea of guilty, had hoped to serve three life sentences was instead issued a death sentence. The murders caused unrest in Memphis because of the way the family was murdered while the girls parents were in bed and the little sympathy shown by Clayton killing all three of them. This very high profile case brought to close.

Hometown Memphis has rare cases of death sentences, but most who loved this family feel it is true justice.

MY MESSAGE TO YOU: Controlling anger can save lives, it is better to stay calm and live than to rage in anger and it's death.

MESSAGE SENT: GOODBYE.

Hi Jeni...This family has been through a great trial of faith. Keep them in prayers too!

@Miisrael,

..."Clayton fired 12 shots, hitting the victims nine times. Jurors heard a chaotic emergency call in which Pashea Fisher begged Clayton not to kill her parents. Clayton's and Pashea Fisher's 4-year-old daughter Joydin was in the house at the time, and he took her with him before turning himself in.

The girl, now 6, was a key trial witness, saying that her father shot her mother and grandparents. "Three wonderful people lost their life in a single morning for absolutely no reason," prosecutor Jennifer Nichols said. Later, she added, "He could have left (the house) at any time. He chose not to."...

Hey You !! It certainly sounds like it. I will definitely place them (Fisher & Claytons) on my list of people to pray for. Prayer changes things ( especially people's hearts in order that they forgive, obtain God's peace, and move beyond stumbling blocks of pain and suffering).
