Time Doesn't Wait; You Shouldn't Either (2897 hits)

I have a wonderful friend who is going through chemo treatment.

We decided to go see the production of "Porgy and Bess" at the Ahmason theatre in Los Angeles, and out to eat. We had a wonderful time. The production is incredible.

My friend's spirits were high. She inspires me with her courage and wiliness to live life to the fullest.

She reminded me that just over a few months ago I too was on a walker from my fall. I thought about how the therapists and nurses were teaching me how to walk again after my operation, and how it took me forever to get in and out of bed dealing with excruciating pain.

Today thank God, I have no pain, no walker, no crutches, and my stride is back to where it was before the fall... but not my view on life.
