Mechanical diggers can be heard and watched as team of rescuers look for possible life. The earth diggers are searching for miners who were trampled with a huge landslide on April 30, 2014 which resulted in 3 deaths so far. The incident was said to be caused by illegal mines operations to find gold. The soil collapsed while miners worked to undercover gold. Man in the village of South-Western Cauca are refusing to move out despite of the unknown threat of more landslides could develop. So far, little recovery of life has been found as hundreds of residents watch and keep hope their love ones are found and are still alive in the mines. President Juan Manuel Santos hinted that the whole incident may have been avoided, but illegal mine operations is a prevalent cause of such accidents.
