New bill that allows cannabis to be homegrown, and produced for users has been set to go in effect in Uruguay. This new bill will not require any more illegal attachments for homegrown marijuana. In fact, it permits it with limits of 480 gram or 1 pound per year. Now those who comply can grown their own at home. Some who welcome the law especially youths said they are glad since many drug dealers usually lace their products with stronger more potent and dangerous drugs. Homegrown cannabis would be safer for them to smoke. [Pictured President Jose' Mujica]
The new bill will become law as soon as the man behind the bill makes its law. That person is President of Uruguay Jose Mujica. Mujica said that overall he opposes drug usage, but because of the overwhelming drug cartels handling of trafficking he feel will weaken their control. Other controversies are in opposing homegrown cannabis would be to encouraging to youth and their families. The law itself is the first of its kind in the world and the world is watching to see how the outcome result may conclude. As for health issues and or social issues Mujica said he is readily watching to be ready to handle situations as the arise. Uruguay is the first nation to set a law of homegrown cannabis.
Home grown is definitely the safest, same as with growing your own vegetables.

Steve, I can see that reason alone is safe for one who smokes, even the dangers of being caught in crossfire or gang and cartel war fare may also bring some safety. Not saying I agree with users, but I have an open mind for "safety and value of life in general." They will be watching to see if the law has some effective outcome.
