Yes, I'm yo' Southern Belle. Excited you are here of course, and with these events I hope you'll enjoy your stay, share a smile, or a laugh or two. This month is May and in Memphis there is our annual Memphis in May International Festival. This festival has been around for some time now and it grows bigger every year. For the past 5 to 6 years it always rains, and rains...and rains. However, this year weathermen are forecasting great sun and mild warm temperatures. I'll tell you a little news on the festival and if you're interested stay and read a few of somewhat humorous jokes. Sure, You know who I am because, I'm famous! And YOU are in A LITTLE SOUTHERN NEWS

Southern flavore will take this event for three most wonderful days a barbequer can dream of! No only dat, you gits to bring chaps, ma and pa and other thangs to suit the entertainment provide. Listen to the playing as local musicians from The Stax Music Academy will entertain you with all that wonderful sound as dat sun goes down! Brang you a folding chair, a sombero, that's a hat, AND unos anteojos de sol!. Wear something pank! There may be some pank and blue skies around!!!
MEANWHILE..... You also celebrate all month of May with the Education Program held at various locations, some of these are free..."I speck!"

NAWH.. I don't think so, but it would be cool! I was just reminiscing of how he wore the Panama hat; in relating to saluting Panama-- and also how famous he was. But, if they do I'll let you know if that happens.
