Push through!
Those words were part of the sentence that rapper Tyler, The Creator yelled while performing on stage at The Annual Austin, Texas South by Southwest Music Festival. The enormous crowd outside the gates did exactly that causing endangerment by pushing and shoving to come inside when gates had been closed off by security staff. Much distraction led to the crowd acting in a riot like behavior when they disregarded security by doing just as the rapper ranted. Tyler, The Creator was arrested and charge with starting a riot and posted bond after being arrested to attend another scheduled concert. Law officials said that encouraging a riot is unsettling because many could have been mauled, injured or even killed by such heavy pushing and shoving in a crowd that could be uncontrollable. If Tyler, The Creator is convicted he could serve up to 1 year in jail and fined $4000 in fines. Later, is was reported that Tyler gave an apology.
At the one of the festival 's earlier concerts on March 12, 2014 the music crowd was disturbed with a driver killing two people and wounding dozens that attended while he fled from police breaking through a barricade with his vehicle. The driver was arrested for D.U.I. and charged with two counts of murder and additional charges related to the incident.
That's a festival, I'm sure many might be glad the pushing is O V E R! o-o
