WE'RE OFF TO SPRING CLEAN!

Checking for the tools...

March 07, 2014

Let's see...rake, scissors, shovel, wheel barrel..

Oh, and this 2014 first letter to the gardeners!

Dear Gardeners:

Wow! It's ever been cold, and depending on where you are now, it's still Winter because the weather is lingering with the cold temps.

Since the weather will soon break open with Spring, your planting from last fall should begin to show signs of those bulbs peeping through. It's still early to start preparation for planning even if you're not quite ready for getting to work. The first sunny day is great to clean up the old beds with and pruning off those last of summer brush that's been left over. Pick a good sunny cool day to work on duties of clean up.

If you're also a smart spending gardener, you may want to check around to update tools, and supplies you'll need for the seasons ahead. Catch sales by looking for Spring mark downs, and if you have a budget stay within your range. I have several things I want to accomplish this year and as I go along, I hope to share photos of me and my encounters of growing things. I also want to get some really good tips for you in growing veggies, fruits, and those blooming plants and bushes. There is much, but somehow I hope to reach a goal to touch some them in sharing information.

Glad we're off to Spring clean! Day light saving time starts this weekend. So the sun may lighten days to the Spring of 2014. We'll pray for each other. And if you're like me, you're looking for a great year to grow things that are beautiful.

So tell me how does your gardens grow?

I'd surely like to know..

Mine grows with

LOTS OF LOVE

Great confession Irma Girl, I was outside for only a few moments, but I only picked up litter off the yard and around the sidewalks. My trees had small limbs falling from last week ice storm, so I picked a few of those too.

LOL! Sloppy soil requires you wear gloves and boots, but it's good peaceful fun to just have muddy hands.
