Just stirred in is reports from the river Kankakee with a bundle of ice rocks. This recent Winter's Brew has caused jams and back-ups which has caused damages to properties and automobiles. With the Winter's storms stirring in cold, then some melting resulted in the huge pile of ice rocks which makes mayhem in the cold season even more inclement. This recipe for Winter is bothersome, however this is very little that can control the lumps invading the Kankakee River. Weather sources say that some 17 rural roads have been closed, and drains are stopped up because of freezing temperatures. Several residents have abandoned their homes for safety precautions caused by the large chunks from the river. So far, falling trees, and likely damages to bridges are in at a peril along with some drinking water bring concerns for availability. In addition, since freezing conditions are helping stop the flow, the ice is on hold until it warms up and then the next formula may result in flooding overload.
