At certain phases in our lives it is necessary to live within the space that we are in. Comfort zones only pose us danger when it is time for us to transition into a higher level than where we are currently at. Comforts zones have the ability and tendency to hinder you causing stagnation in your life. So when you want to move forward because a certain thing feels comfortable, you back up in fear of the now unknown and anything outside of what it is that you have become accustomed to. Comfort zones contradict it protects while at the same time cause danger, they provide a sense of security while making you feel insecure about moving forward. Fear keeps us within the limitations of our comfort zones. We fear the unknown because we have become familiar with everything that surrounds us in the zone, we fear failure because everything within the zone works for us, we fear disappointment because in the zone we know what to expect.
Comfort zones cuts us off from life beyond what we have experienced. We will never step over the edge of what it is that we already know because we fear falling and having no secure place to land. Comfort zones kill productivity and stops us from expanding in the different areas of our lives. Comfort zones can hinder our growth and also stop up from fully enjoying life. Just think about before you landed in the comfort zone where you now stand you had to have taken some type of step that you had never taken before.
True freedom is outside of the comfort zone. We can break free of our comforts zones by learning to face our fears, becoming comfortable with taking risks and enjoying the unknown. Everyday do something different. Learn something new, a new skill, or new language. Take some time out to set down and make a list of the things that you fear doing most but these things will actually help you in getting closer to your dreams being manifested. Make up in your mind that you are going to do it no matter what. Ask for help, we all need someone to come along side of us from time to time and push us into something new. Do it scared, one way to overcome the fear of moving past your comfort zone is to do the very thing that you fear. Don’t be afraid to fail, failure teaches us how not to do something the next time.
Comfort Zones Can Be Dangerous
Three things: 1. “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.” ― Neale Donald Walsch
2. Our comfort zones become dangerous when we allow them to stop us from growing and expanding.
3. Face your fear head on and do what it is that’s going to get you to your next level in life and closer to your vision being manifested.
