Letter: My son is in his last year of high school but he's been "smelling" himself for a few years now. Meaning he thinks he is grown and slick. Last year my husband gave him the option to leave home and he did. He is now at home but won't speak to his dad. That's disrespectful and I want to put him out. I've spoken to my son about this and he still ignors his dad. My husband has made negative comments to me about how I am allowing this. He told me he was threw with our son. Next year he will be away at college and out of our house but this is boiling up now. Do I put him out or wait it out and allow this child to disrespect his father? Thank you
It's time for Mom to break the ice. She should demand that they both speak to each other and act respectful in her presents. Children can have the intelligent of a 12th grader and the mentality of a small child. The child wants to be grown but without the responsibilities.

I went through that w my son and by the time he was 18 he was gone then he came back 2 weeks later to get some food and back out ,,even though I payed for his place it was good for all of us 2 men cant stay in the same house ,,,my thoughts !
