At the days life we are seeing technology at it's full development, we are seeing advancement in space explorations, we are seeing waves of communication and along with developments of medicine and increases in lifespans due to miracle drugs and cures of treatment. All these have purpose to sustain life and even purpose to make living in the earth much easier as well. However, has all this placed our focus away from the Lord God of Heaven?
With relentless hours, of physical fitness, and novelties of television and cell phones the world is somewhat distorted its attention on such idols as these. Where then do we draw back to the ancient paths of God? It would have be with the enrichment of the Word. Yet, still you'll find that an average person may never pick up the Word to read of God's perfect plan for living. The enrichments of the kingdom, the heavenly boundaries and the glories of eternal life are lost in the misty occupation of attention of keeping up with the world.
When there are true believers among us, we still are ignored and even scoffed because we are not in the world's beholding of such possessions of riches and having the latest trend. The enrichments are not gone, they last and simply all one can do is give a reminder to the new generation of it's continued value for moral and immortality of life. The experience is much more rewarding when eyes see and ears hear, and more so when hearts turn to the ways of righteousness of God.
Although there are true believers we struggle too to contain the innocence of God's beauty. We struggle in faith and hope and we believe God has not forgotten us. There is a strength the enrichments only deliver, they have God speaking to us and telling us He is at total control. The enrichments we give joy, and have happiness, we are often in lack of world riches, but surpassed by the enrichments of God life potent within us. This is the enrichment none in the world can withstand. The enrichments from the WORD.
READ, HEAR, STUDY AND OBEY THE WORD.
