A hypocritical spouse is one who claims that their spouse shouldn’t do this or that in the marriage and then they turn around and do the very thing that they advised their spouse against. Have we turned hypocrite on our own marriages as we prepare to close out 2013? Why do we say out of our mouths that which is not in our hearts? Why are we accusing our partner of things that we, ourselves, are guilty of? How does a husband act in a hypocritical manner towards his wife? How does a wife act in a hypocritical manner towards her husband? Why do we love to hide behind good names like ‘Allah’, ‘Moses’, “Jesus” and ‘Muhammad’ and the righteous principles that they taught to try to protect us from our share of the responsibility in the marriage or the relationship? Why do so many spouses go so contrary to the powerful teachings that we have been taught and have received? Should husbands and wives cover and protect each other in the marriage if the spouse is engaged in wrongdoing?
