Michelle Obama Scores The Best December Cover Yet (PHOTO) (3415 hits)

There have been plenty of fancy December covers, including Oprah's glam turn in Vera Wang for O magazine and Jessica Chastain glowing in marigold for Vogue. But our favorite so far is Ladies' Home Journal, which got its December cover in just under the wire. Its big star? Michelle Obama.
The first lady appears on the cover sporting a sleeveless (natch) gold jacquard dress by Lela Rose, whose fit-and-flare dresses she's long favored. The dress just screams holiday, with its gilt print and flouncy shape, and inside Mrs. O talks about her family's holiday traditions, which include a talent show.
