Take one day to get a culture adventure as "ROC YOUR MOCS" Day was observed on Friday, November 15, 2013. Students in Albuquerque were doing that moc's roc celebrating in specialty designed moccasins. The students were from Northern Arizona University, Pudue and University of Michigan all partook in a moccasins making class along with elementary students who wore their mocs to help recognition of Native American Heritage Month. The trend started with one native's student idea to bring recognition to the Native American Culture but soon after it got started the word of wearing mocs really did rock! Trendy too, the art of the moccasins are totally skillfully drawing attention. Laguna Pueblo idea is to also set the pace by wearing the distinguished shoe, boot at lease once a week.
Great idea! What a excellent way to learn of others who are Americans and gathering more knowledge of their culture! I think Mocs Rocs!
I'll be watching the foot wear, I think she's onto something!!!
