Robert, I apologize, I didn't answer you. Yes in future posts I will give reference to which versions I use. I have several and I will give clarification of the postings I give. Of course, I will want the versions related to be clear. The one in this post is from "The Inspirational Bible Study, Max Lucado, General Editor--Using Holy Bible NKJV .

Examining the Son of Man in these verses is giving prophecies of the end of times. In comparison I have demonstrated the great love and being made aware of the knowing of matters/signs which come into the earth through the teachings of Christ. Of course, since this is prophecy it gives prophecy of The Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Understanding that those who believe, are giving signs to watch and know the redemption of times are becoming more prevalent today and drawing near to the latter days of additional powers in the upset of the world. This is a testimony of a knowledge of things to come. I may try to give some more understanding to the Son's purpose, but please know I am not in any way trying to convince anyone beliefs to be that of my own. Since everyone has liberty to believe or disbelieve in Jesus.
Robert, the written biblical account of the prophecy writes that Gentiles are
1. Pertaining to any people not Jewish of Semitic.
This would make reasonable sense that Gentiles are all you have mentioned in your comments
And The Son of Man is Jesus Christ thereby; representing the "humanity" of Christ.
Prophecy comes from prophets of Jesus who give the testimonial prophecy of Christ --by those who are prophets of Jesus.
Luke was Christ's Disciple as well as a prophet of Jesus Christ.
The prophecy Spirit is Jesus's testimony.
Revelation: 19 9-10 NJKV .."Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy."
Understanding Son of Man is the humanity fellowship of Christ being God in Christ.
Studying, reading, and hearing may bring forth more understanding of Christ's humanity. It will take all of these elements, along with belief to find the understanding the Son of Man, Son of God and God Himself. These are basics, but as one studies discernment is given also by The Holy Spirit. It is a process to learn of Jesus.
If what I have answered is still unclear, I will try to give a better revelation. However, with reading more of the WORD there are many mysteries unknown. I have cannot claim to know all of them.
The prophecy of Christ speaks of things that come. That those whom have not believed are subjected to God's wrath thereby brought on by races of men of every nation.

In identifying Jews, Gentile, Muslims I cannot do, because I am certain somewhere in the bloodlines of the many generations of men--races and creeds bloodlines have mixed together and no race is of a pure bloodline anymore. Even though they may be closely associated with their origin of race, races have mixed. I would say that there is none in any race in earth today is from any which has not mixed with another race. That is why I also followed and commented...

In my opinion there are none who are totally pure Jews, or Muslims ..ect. because of past generations and mixing of races.
The prophecy of Christ has written the destruction will come to pass, this is according to the prophecy written in the Holy Bible.
Jesus, being Son of Man, does not refer to being conceived from a man, or fathered by a man. This is because he was bestowed in the womb of a virgin woman {Mary} by the Spirit of The Holy Ghost. Known as the Immaculate Conception. This the seed in which God has provided for man's salvation ...Jesus being the Son of man as in Son of all Man kind. Thus, the humanity from the heritage of a bloodline of Joseph as earthly in generation, with Mary, with Spiritual conception of that of God.
Son of Man, providing grace, and salvation for believers in the WORD. Opened to save any man of all races, or nations of people {man kind} from the wrath of God against the wicked in the latter days with the exception of those who believed on Jesus and names are in the Book of Life Jews or Gentiles.
This totally a following of belief in God that Jesus, is Son of Man, also Son of God. Again, it is up to the individual to believe. Totally a belief, and acceptance into Christ.
Don't forget, I do not address in prophecy to any specific races to believe in Christ. Jesus is for all races of men who will believe in Him. And in my purpose, I tell of the city called the new Jerusalem, which is the city God has made from the blood of Christ The Lamb's bride, the Lamb's wife. A bride which give prophecy of love and God's eternal city.
