Ravage fires overtook the nightline skies in wildfires burning near the city of Athens, Greece. Fire officials said it was the second quick blaze overtaking the dry weather and the hot summers. Months of June and July have exceptional high temperatures which any spark can ignite to burning sentiments. The first of the fires burned at least 110 homes on within a 24 hour period on Monday, August 05 2013. The fires are considered critically dangerous and often difficult to contain. Strong heated winds also added to infernos thirst to crisp and burn the forests nearby Athens. Working throughout the night at least 300 fire personal were like fighting fire military. Pedestrians were requested to evacuate in many fire threatened areas and were re-routed to safety from the fires.
