The Democratic Party is a major political party in the United States, democracy is suppose to be a government in which the people hold supreme power, a government in which the people are supposed to have social equality. As an African/black person born, raised, living, and working in the United States, do you feel democracy works in our best interest (why and why not?) how has it failed us as a nation (if so?), and what steps do you feel we need to take to secure the democracy of a people systematically woven into the seams of America, thoughts anyone?
