Now that we have the news of the trial of George Zimmerman's verdict being not guilty in the cause of death as murder; or manslaughter of Trayvon Martin; there may have been many cries. For many have the cries of the opinion of injustice; while other have the cries of justice. Surely we have cries. Often, scales are unbalanced when men are involved in situations of truth and justice. We do have cries however, where we know we have a just God. Our God who sees and knows all. He determines a justice to each persons own way and heart. The cries of the world wail in things unrighteous as ones as victorious. The righteous ones in the world, but not of the world have cries of the security of God's power in divine direction which holds us together.

Thank you all! There is nothing like the power of prayers. A bonding unity of prayer is even stronger in the midst of others facing hardships or disappointments. Still we may never understand the reasons, but we have God who knows every detail. Let us continue in prayers for others.
We often may find that Zimmerman has taken a life, but a true believer in Jesus how do I know he has not prayed to the Lord for forgiveness? I can only hope he has, because if we live by the Word of God we know how so many times God has forgiven us. Let us pray for each other and for both families during this time. Prayers build faith and we know faith is pleasing works to God and gives Him glory.
Juror in the Zimmerman trial tells ABC News she feels the man who killed Trayvon Martin "got away with murder."
"George Zimmerman got away with murder, but you can't get away from God. And at the end of the day, he's going to have a lot of questions and answers he has to deal with," Juror B29 told ABC, according to an article posted on the network's website Thursday. "(But) the law couldn't prove it." "You can't put the man in jail even though in our hearts we felt he was guilty," she said. "But we had to grab our hearts and put it aside and look at the evidence."
@Jen the words of the juror were thought provoking, since many people feel compelled that Zimmerman should have served time for murder. I loved that the juror noted that God is just and that even though he was given the not guilty verdict they were following evidence shown from the trial. This I'm sure was difficult for them.
@Irma I don't understand it all, but the obvious is that Zimmerman did kill Martin. The circumstances of evidence is possibly what made the jury not convict him of a crime. Those who are not abusive of God's name and his commandments will speak truth, and also have hearts to love. We can say what if; now that Trayvon is dead. But what if he {Zimmerman} had shown love and acted with kindness that night. Truth is we can't change what happened; but hearts can change from hate to love. Given all what has occurred there is a purpose. God has brought attention to eyes of many people and cries are unto He who is a just God.

And so what a man, (or woman), thinketh in his or her heart is what is true to them. How convenient these laws are and how they can be manipulated by those who have a minimum understanding of them. In this case in so many words, a person can be guilty as sin but if there isn't enough evidence, they are free to walk? Similar is a case here in Cleveland where 3 women and a child were held in captivity and one of the women was impregnated by the abductor and forced to abort these fetuses throughout the years during their kidnap, but without the evidence, he can not be charged for murder and just today they have plea bargained. ( see recent post) So he too will be getting away with murder! This being said, these jurors are going to have to live with this decision for the rest of their lives which they have inherited by the laws of the land whether they agreed or not. Remember, they also had to take an oath to serve so they claimed the outcome early on. Man is not God. God see's EVERYTHING from the beginning to the end. God is the Alpha and Omega!

That's the law but many don't follow it. The law's are skewed anyway and from my opinion of watching Law & Order re-runs, its a game between the prosecutor and the district attorney with the judge umpiring.
One thing this lady, Maddy stated was that its was politics and that the case shouldn't even gone to trial/court or something like that because the evidence to convict Zimmerman for murder 1, 2 or manslaughter 1,2 wasn't there. The case went to trial becuase people were trying to save their jobs. The prosecutor for Trayvon's family wasn't trying. It was a staged play from a Shakespeare performance.

At least in the case of Castro... he's saving the taxpayers money by not having a trial by jury and with him taking a plea bargain, the prosecutors get to save their acting for another day. The thing is that we all have to know our parts (places) in the play (world).
Many Blacks who take a plea bargain are deemed more guilty but if they don't take a plea... the Whole Book gets thrown at them. This guy being Latino (a visible minority) is going to jail '4 he life' with no chance of parole. He has a long time to think about his Evil ways unless of course someone kills him on death row.
I'm glad it was laid on this woman's heart to speak up outside of being in a shadow and mentioned God in the process. This God-fearing woman redeemed herself and confessed it to the world about her position in it. I'm glad that she had the courage to do this and knows that God is a "Just God". She, of all the jurors will have peace with this. I'm glad our president spoke up on this issue as well and told the world that he's been subjected of this too. Things are unfolding and being revealed just the way were meant to and people all over the world are becoming aware of what is, and has been happening to us. Whats ironic is that what happened to the 3 women who were kidnapped,raped and tortured here in Cleveland, was also done to us as a nation of people not to long ago and we too have PTSD from it all.

Yes Jen and the women won't have to re-live all this all over again. He will escape the death penalty and for them to try to convict him with murder, would have been tough for them to prove not to mention how long drawn out this could be. We should all be absorbed in how these laws work and the science behind them. We will learn for many years from this tragedy and I'm glad.

I think that in all this and with President Obama's and Mr. Holder's suggestion to the NAACP that the law, policies, and procedures... like stand your ground needs to be re-examined. As a nurse going into different hospitals as a per diem agency nurse, I need to be familar with the policy and procedure of the facilities I work in. Many times, the people I work with will here me ask if that's the hospital policy. Just last week, I went to the ICU looking for the gowns with the snaps on the sleeves because I was taking care of a patient who was contracted very badly of the hands and legs. I could hardly get the gown on him and needed the gown with the snaps. Believe it or not, the hospital I was working didn't have these gown in their possession at all. I asked some nurses why? They had no idea. Perhaps they had never thought to ask if it was policy.
What am I saying. I think that instead of attacking people, we should be going straight to the root of the matter or in other words, the laws that allow people to think that they can harm others in the guise of standing one's ground. A child can't be expected to stand his/her ground against an adult. To me that's the arguement that should have been at the center of the prosecution's case, but I know that they weren't interested in getting any real time for Zimmerman.
