After 10 years of being a captive of a stranger and only being 14 years old when abducted words of "and I'm free" were words of heart moving emotional triumph. This is what happened to three young women who waited so long to find the freedom from her kidnappers. Three young women, Amanda Berry, Gina Dejesus and Michelle Knight all could relate to the freedom spoken over a 911 phone call from Amanda Berry. The three were all kidnapped and held under who knows what kind of conditions during the longevity ordeal of their kidnappers. However, through some determination for survival and waiting just for the right time Amanda moved quickly to attain the door to freedom for her and those of the other two women, also that of her young daughter. News of this story has caused a national and worldwide view of how even such an ordeal can be handled with waiting just for the right time and exiting with bravery.
Law authorities arrested three brothers in connection with the holding the three young women against their will. Over the period of ten years, the young women grew practically living out lives with their captives. Brothers named in the crime are the Castro brothers; Ariel, Pedro and Onil were all arrested as alleged perpetrators of the crime. Many details are still being uncovered as how and why and the conditions why such a unique situation of personalities would cause on holding and keeping young girls, now young women for such an extended period without any suspicious detection. Police and FBI are eager to discover more details.
Amanda, is considered a woman of great courage, and her neighbors also who came to her aid and the others are heroes as well. Neighbors assisted her in breaking open the door when one of them described the scene said he heard screaming from the house.
