Katherine Jackson, mother of the late entertainer/pop star Michael Jackson has filed a lawsuit againt his production company AEG for wrongful death. Mrs. Jackosn is claiming the production management failed to properly investigate Dr. Conrad Murray's involuntary manslaughter of her son death in June 2009.
More than 200 potential jurors were screened but most haven't been selected due the the time frame of the trial may last longer than 3 months. AEG has denied any mishandling of the invesigation, and insists they never hired Dr. Murray for Michael Jackson's care. Jackson is seeking $40 billion dollars as a estimate of the amount the concert potential gross if her son lived. The weed of jurors has narrowed to 43 from the initial 200 in the last 3 days of questioning.
