Here's a list of my favorite male salsa dancers when it comes to "social" dancing. There will be a thousand opinions on each dancer and a thousand other lists of dancers - this is just mine. I am from NYC and am more familiar with NYC dancers, and a fan (obviously) of those particular styles. I have taken class from all those on the list who teach, and appreciate what I have learned from all of them.
Salsa is one of my artistic outlets, and though I practice and take class for many hours of week, and take my training seriously, I still feel that it (social dancing) should just be fun and uninhibited. That's what most* of the music was about, that's what most of the artist were about, and that's what the dancers should be about.
