The honor, pleasure and opportunity was granted me and my little ones to travel to Killeen Texas for a two-week visit with my son, Earl and his wife for the Christmas holiday; they are two months pregnant with an expectancy month of July [which is the month my son was born] for birth.
Words cannot express how elated I am in anticipation of the arrival of my first grandbaby! I am now contemplating a move there in either Killeen, Copperas Cove or Harker Heights.
Subsequently, I am attempting to tap into some resources and establish my network for employment, housing and community engagement. I love the sector of Human Services assisting families through empowerment trainings and increasing their voices at the decision-making tables that affect their lives. Perhaps the fact that I am a mother of an Army soldier, my chance of becoming employed can be expedited in such a prevalent military environment . #show #me #the #way
