Irma, I like to see fog, but not drive in it. The misty I'm told is good for breathing and for the skin. Also, I consider it a great meditaion muse for poets like me.

Out here it is called tule fog. It usually happens at night and there were times when I could've walked faster than I could drive.

Never experienced Tule Fog ..the thickness must be a real experience; as I haven't seen such thick fog before. How often do you have that? Does follow raining?

It has to do more with the waterways here. It's mostly during the winter months when the cold air descends on the warm water. I don't have to deal with it much anymore but it was pretty predictable where I would run into it when I was commuting to Oakland.

I was in Memphis in the summer of '72 and I remember it was beautiful. This was when I was 16 and I hitchhiked from Pennsylvania to Mississippi then to Wisconsin (with that layover in Memphis) then back to Pennsylvania. It was quite an interesting trip.

What a wonderful time of life...traveling and hitchhiking..it was so much safer then. Memphis still has beautiful sites, but I find there is much more litter on our streets and signs of urban blithe. Our Memphis City Beauty Commission was once a common name, but now I hardly hear much of what they are doing now. Population is about 90% Black in inner city areas. Despite of high crime rates among our teens and young adults, Southern hospitality is alive-- people still speak, wave and smile and love to talk about that Memphis weather.

It is just too bad the government, who has the role of providing for the common good, doesn't do their job, or at least not well. Well as Harry likes to say, we have a steep uphill climb. We can reminisce, but we can only go forward. I ask myself all the time, if I could go back, would I? I like these rambling dialogs. Any more snow storms to report Miisrael. Is it a hard winter so far?

We are having a normal rainy season so far, thank God.

Yes, I would reminisce too; but I go on keeping the memories. There is more bad weather coming. Why from my inner Spirit foretells it will be a very cool, cold chill wind bringing blizzards...even now they come. I know I may sound a little scary to some, but I am only using powers not of my own. I see also death from cold weather as many will perish from the cold this is possibly on a world wide scale. There may be oceans and seas, and waterways will freeze in abnormal places causing ships to stay at docks for several weeks. Well, the sense has left me now. Enjoy the rain Steve and find it beautiful....

I so enjoy the rain Miisrael, it is life giving. And you know I trust your sixth sense, and I am waiting to see how this winter plays out. I am sure there will continue to be strange weather patterns in other parts of the country though we are having a normal winter here so far. But the cloud seeding was very active here yesterday after our most recent rain, and I know what is being done here has far reaching consequences around the country.
