JOE JACKSON HOSPITALIZED AFTER SUFFERING STROKE (1556 hits)
LAS VEGAS--Joe Jackson, father of the late Michael Jackson, is expected to be released today from a hospital in Las Vegas after suffering a minor stroke.
The 83-year-old pop-music-family patriarch began experiencing weakness on Wednesday while walking in a park near his home, family friend Brian Oxman told Reuters.
He was later admitted to a hospital.
By Thursday, Oxman said Jackson "was doing well and says he's feeling OK."
Jackson has a history of strokes, Oxman added.
Jackson worked as a crane operator for U.S. Steel in Gary, Indiana, before eventually managing the Jackson Five.
I didn't realize he was in his eighties? I must be getting old? Du...ugh. Hoping he's feeling better.
