Man, sorry to hear that. Although we all have our differences, something like this just never sits right. I know in the end, you cannot escape death no matter what age you are, but I am glad to see that he got 75 good ones in. Compared to what you see everyday, people die even younger tan that ... so with that, it's a blessing that he got to 75.

Reggie I totally agree with you. Your comment reminded me of a story I read about Prophet Muhammad where a Jewish funeral was held in the Medina community, and he stood up and said a short prayer for the deceased individual. One of the Prophet's helpers told him, “It is a Jew.” The Prophet said, “Was he not a soul?” The Prophet said, “Verily, you stand to acknowledge Allah, who is the receiver of all souls.”

My mother also passed away (suddenly) in March of this year from a stroke at the age of 70. Her passing came as a shock to all of my family members because she was a person who never smoked, never drank alcohol, she exercised regularly and rarely ate red meat. I learned later on that her stroke was caused by an inherited heart condition. But the good thing is that they have lived a complete life. Harry and I had our share of quarrels in the past, but he will be missed by all who knew him. The things he claimed and said he would do never came to fruition, but my condolences go out to his family and friends.
