I asked a pastor and a deacon at the YMCA today that when Black Americans like the ones that follow the religion of Islam are really followers of the Arabian people since the Arabians are the founders and owners of the Islamic religion?
This fool said to me that he doesn’t think so. He said the Black Americans Islamic followers are equal because they are both following Allah, the Arabian word for God.
I said don’t you think that the Black American Muslims are second-hand users of the religion since Black American Muslims must line up behind the Arabian because the Islamic religion belongs to them? I then gave the example of buying a new car versus buying a second-hand car. Guess what they said! They said a used car is just as good as a new car to them and that is because none of them ever bought a new car. I told them I had brought three brand new cars in my life and I know the feeling.
My point is that there is nothing like having your own. God bless the child who’s got his own.
I asked them if we would be better off having our own religion, our own prophet, having our own direction and our own country. They said they are doing alright with the Christian religion and second class citizenship. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Can’t you all see how ignorant of a people we are?
And, you know that is just how you BIA members feel and think as well, am I right.
