Hurricane Issac and Inner Peace (445 hits)

Hurricane Isaac is crossing the states creating a lot of damage and heartache.

Watching the video footage from Isaac, and thinking of our loved ones and friends who may be, or have been in harm’s way, is heart-breaking.

However, you don’t even have to know anyone in Isaac’s path to be affected.

Subconsciously, or consciously the hurricane may bring up fears of your own loss in the past, or fears of losses in the future. It may not be a destroyed home. It could be your worries about losing a family member, a love relationship, money, a job, or material possessions.

Often national disasters set off the loud voices in our heads. “If that could happen to them, it probably could happen to me.” The mind again has control and is running with a script that brings big-time fear.
