Tokyo's school children presented hand made and craved medals to it's 518 delegate of atheletes partcipating in the London 2012 Olympic Games. These were children from the hard hit tsumani areas in the country who dedicated time and creativity in making the emblems special with messages of good luck and congratulations in their own words. The medals are made from handcraved driftwood found in the region after the tsunami and measures 5 centimeters in diameters (2 inches) in diameter. It carries the emblem of the Japanese Olympic Committe on it. The medal was received with most heartfelt thanks from it's recipients.
