I have always cherished the moments of ‘waiting’. For me there is a blessing in ‘waiting’ The dictionary says that the word ‘wait’ means to remain neglected for a while, to look forward to eagerly, to be in readiness. The bible speaks of wait in as in Job 32:11 Look, I waited for you to speak; 1 I listened closely to your wise thoughts, 2 while you were searching for words. Genesis 49:18 I wait for your deliverance, O Lord. 1 Sometimes especially in times of difficulty and hardshipness, it is a ‘given’ or a purposeful time in need to do just that to wait. Waiting brings about abundance, growth, maturity, patience. Waiting allows one to think through ‘happenings’ to bring about a structural and order to what is happening or what may happen. Waiting can bring a sense of peace, security and joy. So, waiting is truly a blessing in disguise do not allow feelings and emotions to speak for one to do ‘quickly’.
