How we ended up on religion I will never know. I thought we were talking politic. Frist of all the Mormon did not come with the curse of cain doctrine. The catholic church did In 1781 Pope Pius VI had a series of books made called the Origin of Mankind. The Pope gather up information from other Catholic leader and put them in books. In one of these books there is a chapter on the race of man,and where they come from. Now most churches are branches of the Catholic church like Prebyterian, Bapitist, & Pentecostal Churches. He doesn't flip flop like Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum. We can go down the roster of all of Romney and Santorum's RACIST, s*xIST, and UN-AMERICAN support.
Oh, let's not forget that Romney ALMOST became a Democrat a few years ago! He denied it BUT the interview is on tape. And don't get me started on Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich...words cannot describe my resentment for those two clowns.

Yes Jake, Rori is my blood brother. I am not originally from Oklahoma. I have lived in ,Many states, arizona and Colorado being some of them.
Now, Kenya is young and full of NEW ideas and comes with a new prespective. The younger generation is not bogged down by the reminants of the past.
Some of them know about them, but like Kenya and many other I know, we were taught to best the best. If you spend time, whining about what white man did, there will be not time to best him. I grew up in a town that did not allow the white man to buy property within the city limits. We were trained and educated to be able to stand shoulder to shoulder with the best of the best. So, there was no inferiority to unlearn.
Kenya grew up the same way. Success is inbred in some people and yes, an attitude of superiority, some would say, but I say, confidence. All of us did not come out of a slavery background. Who knows, my ancestories might have owned a few themselves. After all, we go back deep into Louisiana and South Carolina. So lets not get too carried away here, after all, I did say you were one of the "Good" Guys.

Jake, That is not exactly true where my mother was concerned. Just an example. As a Native American, she decided some time ago that the government didn't need to know everything and some of it wasn't their business. There is some information they have no way of knowing unless we tell them. I know some Native Americans who refuse to get drivers' licence because they refuse to pay to drive on their own land.

Now , back to Romney, His statement about the worries of women reinforces his demeaning attitude toward women. He all but said they don't have anything important to worry about. My friend Chinyer you have head me speak of often...almost all of her life she believed her parents were not marride because she did nothave her father's name like her other sisters and brothers did. they were born at home iwth a midwife, but he birth was complicted and th eonly way both she and her mother would not have to die in her birth was to be delivered in their local hospital in Memphis TENN and he mother had to not have a husband. You see jake even having cash and insurance her mother and she would have died due to th ewite only hospital...and, yes Jake not being allowed into a white only hospital is why my mother died from a car accident...but then th eBlack doctor who invented blood tranfusions died in my state less than 60 miles from my home town from bleeding to dath because he was Black and could not be treated in an all white hospital!!! Oh and Jake my friend was not my age as she was not even 50 when sh edied a few years ago.
And, each family reunion we have we give reports on how far since the last 6 year reunion has those groups charged to do this research on our family roots.we are still stuck on trying to find the plantation that got us our name brer this one we have now or we will be stuck on the way we have been doin gour research and try another metod to get past this block and believe me it is a block or our family just went out of existance,,,but it is a great project.
