The family of R&B veteran El Debarge is relieved the singer will not face charges for his recent cocaine arrest, insisting the "truth has prevailed." The star was taken into custody by Los Angele...
Honestly I couldn't get the full story from the stuff I read, but for me its a RED FLAG any way you choose to look at it. For someone who is a recovering addict, he needs to be no where near any 'boi' who has drugs knowingly or unknowingly. Usually people know on the street who has drugs for which I suspect El was meeting with him. If not, why not meet the guy at his house, eh?
Or perhaps he was just hailing him because he saw him in passing... he should have waved and kept it movin'. I'm prayig for him. I really want him to stay clean and take the new beginning that God has given him.
...As his so-called black mother "stood" by her man's side!!!!!! ... Is that right? She has a book out about her family. I was planning on buying it, but I never got around to it. She also sings.
