Can you believe it’s been 12 years since D’Angelo’s “VooDoo” hit shelves?? It’s also been just about that many years since we’ve seen him onstage. D'Angelo, whose real name is Michael Archer, reached popularity with his 1995 release, Brown Sugar. After a series of run-ins with the law, D’Angelo quietly fell into that place where stars go to regroup (wherever that is. Rehab perhaps?) and now he’s back and ready for action. The formerly fine crooner aka Angie Stone‘s baby daddy packed on the pounds during his “retirement” but now it appears he’s close to his old self as he performed at Filadelfiakyrkan in Stockholm Sweden yesterday (January 26, 2012)
