REGIONS BANK OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS TO AFRICAN AMERICAN HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS (2331 hits)


CNN.com--Regions Bank is offering high school seniors an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of African-Americans, past and present, and earn $5,000 to attend college.

Regions will award 25 Riding Forward Scholarships based on a competitive essay contest.

Student will write about the contribution of a African- American hero who created opportunities for future generations.

The top 25 entries each will receive a scholarship.

Applications will be accepted through Feb. 29.

Awards will be announced in April. Visit regions.com/ridingforward for more information.
