The internets were roaring this weekend as news released of Big Boi’s drug arrest in Miami. Amongst his collection of illegal substances was viagara, which is a controlled substance. While folks on my social networks were busy cracking jokes about Big Boi’s pill popping, I know somewhere out in the world there were men who felt more at ease about their own usage of the drug.
Viagra is usually used to treat erectile dysfunction in men. I was shocked to find out that over half of men of 40 have some degree of Erectile Dysfunction, however it is becoming more common (although still on the low) for men to use Viagra recreationally to enhance or sustain s*xual performance in bed.
Without an erection, s*x is a lot less enjoyable, point blank. When a man is unable to sustain his erection it not only does damage to his ego, but it also has us ladies thinking that we are doing something wrong, especially since his throbbing member is the first to stand at attention in the morning, when an attractive woman so much as walks by and at the mere mention of bedroom acrobatics.
In general our men want to satisfy us. I would not put it out of my mind that at some point in some of our relationships a partner may have popped a pill out of curiosity to give us that sweet sheet tearing, thigh quivering satisfaction for hours on end…Honey, I’m making you steak tonight??!!
