A Question.... (855 hits)

When I was in Atlanta, there was discussion on the radio about whether or not the saints needed a "pole" for the wife to dance on in the christian bedroom. One side said that we are bringing the "world's way" into the christian life. The other side did not see the problem with it. What do you think?

I don't think that there is anything wrong with a christian having a pole in her bedroom to dance for her husband if she wants to. Sometimes we let the world dictate to us as chrisians what we should or should not do instead of enjoying our lives according to what the bible says we can do. As long as what we do is positive, beautiful, lovely, with substance, holy and pure, not compromising our relationship with christ and keeping our integrity we are allowed to live! We're afraid of everything, we don't know how to have fun, etc. Its too much to go into and I know as christians we have to be peculiar but we run from music, beats, goodtimes, get togethers, etc, I even know people who won't go to see a movie and women who won't even put on a little make-up if thats there desire because they believe it is a sin. If the marriage bed is undefiled than a pole in the room is not going to defile it. The bible says we are defiled from within not without. As long as there are no third parties, or animals involved she should be able to pleasure her husband by dancing for him whether she's wearing fishnets and high heeled red pumps or dancing on a pole! If they are truly in christ the holy spirit will let them know if something is derrogatory, unhealthy, harmful or unholy!
