Too many of us have gotten comfortable in our walk with the Lord. We have found ourselves moving with the regular folks in church. We gather together to hear a message, fellowship and just plain clock in to church. At the end of the day what can we really say. Have we changed somebody around us. When we leave the church with those doors closed behind us is that it? We have become comfortable. We don’t really read our bibles after church. We haven’t witnessed to someone outside of our church building. Some of us are to afraid to even get on facebook and share the Word of God. We only accept those on our facebook that look alright. Maybe if they have a title behind their name or something. But, is that what Jesus has called us to do. We stand in the church talking about how we want to do something. We speak loudly up in there. But who speaks for those who don’t know Jesus. If he were here today He would be preaching, teaching and reaching on every avenue possible. Some people think it is what you do in the comfort of your church that makes you a good christian. Well it doesn’t. Don’t get me wrong it doesn’t mean you are bad either it just means you are too comfortable. You do just enough to meet the requirements. Those of us on the other hand that choose to go beyond the call of our church building are oftentimes persecuted by the pulpit, the leaders and others because they want us to benefit the church. But what they don’t realize is that when they begin to speak against that they are really speaking against Jesus. The truth is Jesus was always in an uncomfortable situation, place, or circumstance. He was never comfortable. As a matter of fact he didn’t preach from a steady cozy room where he could condemn folks and talk about them. No! NO! he went to the people, he walked, slept and lived amongst them. He ate what they ate, spoke their languages. His messages were never comfortable because He wasn’t comfortable. He went to speak to them on their own turf. He showed no fear. He could have easily taken command of the pharisees and sadducess buildings and had a very comfortable living. He knew the Word because He was and is the Word instead He JESUS Chose to be with us. We got to get uncomfortable with Jesus. We cannot allow the enemy to lead us astray by telling us to stay inside the comfort zone and never, never enter the battle zone. We are called as warriors to be on the frontline. It is our reasonable service. GLORY! So ask yourself what zone are you in? Are you in the Comfort Zone or the Battle Zone? If you have found yourself in the comfort zone you are on the wide road to destruction. Nobody wants to be in the battle zone, what many would call the hot zone, the red zone come on now. But that is what JESUS was all about. He was always in the Hot Zone right up until His death! He was ready for battle. He didn’t care what they said, nor how they saw it He came to be about His Father’s Business are you?
WOW!!! While I was reading this blog, I immediately thought of the scripture in Luke 12:49; King James--- "I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?" ( The same scripture reading reads like this in the Message Bible-- "I've come to start a fire on this earth—how I wish it were blazing right now!" In order to do the work of the ministry effectively, the people of God have to have some passion just as the Lord Jesus had for the work of Ministry, eh!!!

Absolutely, My sister. This is what is needed in the Body of Christ. We need to be ignited with the passion to serve like the early church of the Book of Acts. Are we truly willing to sacrifice all for the sake of the gospel of Jesus Christ? If we could only serve with the passion of Jesus. That is what it means to be like Jesus. AMEN
