"Buttock-Implant" Kills 20 Year Old Woman (951 hits)
February 10, 2011 An aspiring hip-hop dancer and choreographer, Claudia Aderotimi, has died of heart attack in the US after cosmetics surgeons of shady professional background injected her with buttocks enhancing silicon.
The 20-year old British-born Nigerian and her friends came to the US for the surgery after she arranged with a group of women who advertised their services online. The butt-enhancement treatments were administered on Claudia at the Hampton Inn hotel in Southwest area of Philadelphia.
Shortly after the treatment she complained of chest pain and had difficulty breathing. She had to be rushed to the Mercy Fitzgerald hospital in Darby, Pennsylvanaia where she was pronounced dead before doctors could save her. Silicone is believed to have entered her bloodsteam causing her heart to stop.
It is sad to see how some women are stooping so low and going as far as altering their bodies to make themselves look pleasing to the hip hop audience...just a week ago I read about another woman passing away after getting her 6th breast implant surgery...fame is no match for death...
I know that's right! I wanted to get a breast augementation some years ago after seeing the before and after piks of my colleague's sister. I had gone through the research, got the money together, booked my surgery but thankfully chickened out at the last minute. That was over 18 years ago. Apparently this young lady had a botched job by a nonmedical professional with Industrial Silicone rather than the high quality kind used in Cosmetic Surgery.

As a matter of fact, I was flipping through the channel on my TV at home one weekend and Little Kim was on one of the VH-1 reality shows... and she looks horrible!!! Honestly I think people should be happy with the body God gave them...
Well Sister Siebra, The reason this story is really newsworthy in my opinion is because Cosmetic Surgery isn't common in African women period, but it looks like more and more people as they move to the West are becoming infatuated with Hollywood and the Entertainment biz. It's sad because so many young girls are really being affected at earlier and earlier ages by body image. I have a relative who we nicked named Kunta because he resembled Levar Burton when he played the character Kunta Kinte in "Roots". This relative married a Filipino girl and had children with her. The eldest dgt has a broad nose and she isn't proud of it because all her features are Filipion except her nose. I talked to her mother and told her that she could always opt to have Rhinoplasty when she becomes of age. Her mother agreed because its probably a source of joking for the child which I really wouldn't want to happen to her and she has a major image disturbance due to it. What's worst?

Some things shouldn't be messed with on your body, but often these who dare to go out on a ledge sometimes fall down. I'm extremely sorry she felt it was necessary to go out like that--when her "butt" caused her to take a great risk and the process cost her a price in losing her life. Some things should remain the same.

@ Miisrael, ..."I'm extremely sorry she felt it was necessary to go out like that--when her "butt" caused her to take a great risk..." Yes, it really sad but I'm sure that there were no puns intended in your statement, right?

No. none at all. I only meant choosing to go out to change her figure when it was probably wasnt' all that bad. I wasn't showing puns. I should of explained a little better.

You're right. I kept looking at Tom Cruise's ex wife's lips during the Oscars because they looked like the Joker's lips from Batman. I don't know what's going on but people really need to be proud of what they have like Barbara Streisand is of her 'trade mark' nose.
Remember that girl who played in 'Dirty Dancing' as Baby (Jennifer Grey) with the late Patrick Swayze? Right after the movie was such a hit, she goes and has rhinoplasty and she disappeared into the horizon until she was on last season's 'Dancing with the Stars'. No one recognizes her.
I love Wendy Williams, but hopefully she will not have anymore plastic surgeries especially for her breasts. My husband remarked that her bust was too, big. I know right! A man said that. Don't let me get on Joan Rivers. I rest my case.
Thanks again Brother Clarence for the comments to this blog.
