Words to my brother...
Today makes two years with out your presence.
Two years without your laughter
Two years with out that pearly white smile
Two years after
I have missed you all the while
I know you can see me from heaven
I hear you softly whispering Dont Cry
I know you are home
Painless and Free
I know you are in a place with an empty seat nearby
Waiting for me
I feel when you are in the room
Yet I miss being able to touch you
I have a hard time dealing with you leaving me so soon
While I know you are waiting for me
And looking down watching all that I say and Do
I know you would not want me to be down and sad
Life is not the same with out you
Today as I send your balloons to the sky
As I offer my prayers on the wind
Today as you are heavy on my heart and mind
Today I miss you
My brother
My Friend
We were one of a kind
And the world will Never be the same
The Greatness that Is
That was
That will Never Be Forgotten
The greatness that is you
Your love
Touched many
Your life Held dear to a select few
On this day Your memory is Strong
As they remember you
Through the tears
The laughter
The trials
Through the Smiles
The anger
Through the pain
Your Mark has been left on the world
Too Numerous to Name
As a sister I grieve the loss of a brother
As a Best Friend I grieve the loss of my other half
Yet As I light this candle for you and the Flag of my heart
Is lowered Half Mast
