Chivalry is HERE
for my summer vacation I went to Toronto, Canada(T Dot) for a little over 2 weeks for my best friend's wedding. Also I used to live there, so it felt like I was coming home in a sense and was really excited to see my family and old friends. And I had such a blast.
A couple of times on my vacay, I utilized public transportation and noticed something I don't see on the regular. Anytime old folks came in the bus, SOMEONE WOULD GET UP AND GIVE UP THEIR SEAT! I was astonished. And when a lady was standing, a man will give her his seat. Now this is something we're all supposed to do, but truly I don't see it happen much. Which got me thinking chivalry is here. I've seen it with my own eyes and I'm happy to have witnessed it.
What ya'll think?
P.s they're very family oriented there.

I know what you mean about chilvalry being dead in this day and time or perhaps rare. It's nice when one sees it, but it is rare to see as you alluded to. When I lived in the southern States, there was alot of people opening doors for women and elderly people. Public transport is rare where I lived and if it runs it stops at 11pm.
What part of Canada did you live in? It's so beautiful there, but taxes are much on the products.
