You feel as though your prayers are bouncing off the ceilings. But you do not need to despair. God has not left you.

Behold I am with you at all times, whether you can feel it or not says the Lord. And though at times it might seem to you that I have forsaken you because you cannot feel my presence, you must realize that this is not true. For I will never remove my presence from you.
But what has happened is that my presence has become locked up inside you by external influences. And the pressures of life, the attack of the enemy and the accusations that have come from your own heart as a result of your failures, have caused you to stop hearing or sensing my presence within. And sometimes it is the bitterness of your own heart that prevents you from coming into my presence, for fear that I will require of you something more than you are willing to give.
These are but clouds that have come in the way of the sun. They are lies from the enemy to make you think that I have turned my back on you. They are lies that tell you I will not hear you because of your failures. They are lies that seek to steal from you the very blessing that I so earnestly seek to bring to you. They are temptations to make you give up in despair. They are fears that prevent you from coming boldly to the throne of grace.
So stop and take stock now my child, says the Lord, and cause the clouds to be dispersed. For if you have failed then you do not need to despair, for I have paid the price for your cleansing and victory. And as you bring afresh to the cross those things in your life that make you feel so unworthy in my presence, I will cleanse and remove each one. Then you shall enter boldly into my presence once more. And you shall refuse the lies of the enemy, and you shall walk in fellowship with me once again.
