The following has not been easy for me to share in regards to my younger brother and some of the sentiments I will express about his short life. And I thank all who have stopped by for this short 'visitation':
I have begun making contact with those who are the drivers for Covenant Transport and Trucking Corporation of Chattanooga, Tennessee. And the thought now comes to mind that there should be a memorial of a sort which would commemorate the legacy of John "Cujo" Cooper, Coordinator of driver training at this prominent American Trucking Company.
John was a very special person, who has been taken from among us, according to the Edict of Providence. He seemed to have come equipped with the aptitude of knowing when others needed 'lift', a kind word of reassurance, encouragement when others thought there was 'no other way...' When reading truckerdesiree.com the drivers at Covenant themselves quickly become evidence and proof of this viewpoint.
His cherished Daughter, our beloved niece, E.J. Cooper, grieves sorely over his decease, along with his nine surviving siblings and their offspringmake. His Mother (and ours), Mrs. Henrietta F. Cooper, has demonstrated the staunch fiber of character she she 'transmitted' to her children genetically in the face of tragedy over the loss of her second son. Readers, yes, even death itself seems to make this Matriarchal figure stronger in life-in her 93rd year .
How I wish all of you could get to know her. Once more, please visit www.truckerdesiree.com for Donna's heartening comments.
