Do You Know When the Real "2012" Will Come? (525 hits)
Matthew 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, as a testimony to all nations; and then the end will come."
The more I pray, the more I'm seeing those signs that Jesus warned His disciples to watch for of the nearing of the end of the world. Of course I'm not a believer in 2012 End of the World Prediction or any such Mayan Calendars, but a disciple of the scriptures (at least I used to be). I stopped looking to the end when 1999 came and the party wasn’t over and I still had time ( I digress).
Seriously, I was reading the twenty-fourth chapter of Saint Matthew as Jesus warned his followers to not allow any man to lead them astray when my attention was drawn to verse fourteen; I suddenly had the "lightbulb go off in my head" or was it a mere revelation of how merciful and good the Lord is. Did you know that the end of the world shall not come until the whole Earth has had the opportunity to hear the Gospel preached as a testament of God's love? Think about that for a moment!
This is spiritual revelation for you. I knew of this scripture and I am glad you have help spread it's news. However, signs are indicating the beginning of woes which must also come beforehand as well. ..There will be plagues and pestilences more prevalent during the latter days. In the meantime, we must keep watch and pray, and also prepare that others know of God's complete mercy for those who will hear and obey his Word. Thank you Jen. God's plan is fail proof!

I suppose you are correct in that this was a revelation moment for myself which is awesome! Miisrael I give God the glory and I thank Him for opening his Word so that I can see and feel His Love on a daily basis.
Moreover in those things you have mentioned from the book of Timothy gets me thinking on a political level of how we as Americans disagreed with the invasion of Iraq (Gen. Colin Powell, President Obama, and of course moi) as well as many of us don't want us to continue the war in Afghanistan.
If the gospel is to be preached as a testimony to all the world then perhaps this might be a greater plan for peoples of those lands (maybe not right now) to hear the gospel by removing the strongholds that keep the Word of the Lord from being preached. The young people of Iran appear to be a different breed with their computer savvy skills and blogging knowledge. I know that through them God will do marvelous things.
