I can't believe another year has passed us by so quickly, but it has. And with that, we are getting prepared for the MEAC/SWAC Challenge & Tailgate in Orlando FL. This year it will be on Sunday Sept. 5th. Southern U vs. Deleware State! I personally wonder how many faithful Deleware State Alumni & Fans will be in stadium to support their team. I also wonder how many Southern Alumni & Fans will be here as well.
This year's Tailgate is being organized by CanDo Event Planning (yet again) and if you were foturnate enough to enjoy last year's Tailgate, you won't want to miss out on this year's Tailgate.
What's new? This year the tailgate begins early in the morning with Church service with New Destiny. Then enjoy more music, a Collard Green Cookoff, drumline competition, vendors and other activities. After the game ends, the Tailgate continues with a Chicken Wing Eating contest, Battle of the Bands, Central Florida Steppers, & more!
