And when you pray do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words, Matthew 6:7...but the theatrical production is unnecessary and completely absurd! You don't have to keep speaking, to be heard. Just find a quiet place and abide in His grace...there is only so much hot air a God-Man can take...simplify it for God's sake. Just ask for what you need...and leave it at that please! Don't blah, blah, blah...the One that, made the promises and wrote the Law.
Sit in your seat or down on your knees...there's no need to draw attention to yourself, as you plead. No matter where you are He hears and sees. Your eye's wide open, or searching the room, disparately...hoping, to see...a sign...and that's no crime. If you set aside blocks of prayer or pray randomly all the time...intimate conversations in your mind. The most important thing...is that you take the time to bring...honest words before the King...and don't forget the part about listening. Just keep it real...your prayers aren't graded on skill...or how many words, you can rile...off!
